I am completely inspired by your story and blog. I am an aspiring childrens wear designer and I can only hope I will be half as successful someday. I have a few questions I hope that you have time to respond to. At what point did you know you needed a manufacturer? How did you find one, and are there in any in the US? Would you ever be willing to share you your manufacturer is? I know its always better to go to someone who is referred than going in blind, but I also know sometimes companies would rather not share this information. Also do you do all the designing at this point still, or do you have a team for that? Any insite you could give would be appreciated! Thank You for all of your posts.
I love reading your blogs. I have been an aspiring childrens wear designer for a couple years now. I have sold in a few stores, but I really want to get a manufacturer so I can grow. I was hoping to get your feedback on a few things...At what point did you know you needed a manufacturer? How do I find a manufacturer, are there any in the US, and would you ever share who manufactures Ruffle Butts? I figure going to a referred company is always better than going in blind sided. And Lastly, Do you design everything yourself, or do you have a team for that? I am completely inspired by your story, and I can only hope that one day I will be half as successful!
Love this post! This has been a big discussion at our household the past few weeks. Kevin and I have made a pact to take our life back this summer. Enjoy every moment because in the blink of an entire school year has gone by and my babies are going into the 6th and 3rd grades. The next thing I know they all will be off to college. :( That makes me sad
